疍家人，作为沿海地区一个独特的族群，现今已经为数不多了。疍家，正因为他们以船为家，由 于蛋壳漂浮在水上，因此名为“蛋家”。如今的疍家人大多已经上岸居住，但依然保持着打渔的习 惯，他们还忘不了疍家传统咸水歌和传统水上婚嫁，然而依然还有一部分疍家人不愿离开大海故 乡，虎门旧渔港的居民很多依然生活在船上。
