李宝如，从小耳濡目染，长大后先后师从北京跤坛“四小”之首刘振山先生、跤坛高手赵勤（俗叫小侉子）先生练习摔跤。他不放弃任何一个向前辈、名家学习的机会，学到老、练到老，并将这门艺术广播民间。
