篾匠是中国古老的传统手艺，以编织竹筐竹篮等竹制生活用品为主，拍摄地位于湖北省宜昌市的山村之中，所要挖掘的是在山中土生土长的手艺人胡先坤老人，从一部纪录片中看老人几十年的篾手艺历程，在如今中国古老手艺慢慢失传，昨日的璀璨文化几近流失，今日看到的是老人对文化的继承，而未来便是最动人的中国故事。

Craftsmanship to make articles from bamboo strips is an old traditional craftsmanship in China, in which bamboo articles such as bamboo basket and etc. are knitted. This film was shot in the village of Yichang, Hubei Province, and the interviewee is the native-born craftsman in the mountain Hu Xiankun. From a documentary film, it can be seen that the process of the elderly man’s craftsmanship about bamboo strips for several decades gradually fails to be handed down in China, the brilliant culture in the past has nearly gone away. What we see today is that the elderly man inherits the culture, while it will become the most touching story in China in the future.
