The film tells a story about a group of primary school students in an old factory in northeast China in 1999. The kids originally prepared a chorus performance to be delivered at their graduation ceremony. However, their primary school was about to be dismantled and the graduation ceremony was also canceled. They had to make every possible effort to complete the last singing performance.
