1943, Second World War. Following a firefight, the soldier and former centometrist Antonio Ferrini is spending his last minutes of life next to the body of an American. Faced with the responsibility and the horror of the war, Ferrini begins to feel with the dead a strange relationship of closeness, until he becomes aware of what History has taken away from both.
